Non-Functioning EXE Files And The Blue Screen Of Death

Image you log into your laptop and you are faced with the blue screen of death that we all dread. You may already be familiar with this horrible screen. The blue screen of death tells you that your software is having serious problems. What most of us don't realize is that the blue screen of death can be a result of registry errors that are generally very easy to fix if you use registry repair software.

What is registry repair software you ask? It's specialized software that erases all of those nasty error messages that tell you your .exe files are non-functional. But, what symptoms do you get that tell you the time has come to tune up your PC using your registry repair software?

Symptoms of Registry Errors

*      You see the blue screen of death on boot-up. This is not normal and you should take care of it immediately or you could lose your data.

*      -You are experiencing extremely slow processing in your software applications.

*      Your Internet service begins to go crazy and you think you might have a virus.

*      You are getting continuous error messages, such as aprogram.exe could not be opened.

*      You may see programs and files in your add/remove program's list that you cannot identify.

*      You try to remove a program or file from your computer and it will not delete it.

All of these errors can occur because there are problems in your registry that require fixing.  Your registry is a large database that stores “everything” so that your computer can operate properly.  But sometimes old files get left behind, files become corrupt, others become obsolete , and Spyware can also find it’s way to your registry – all of these problems can cause the blue screen of death because of an .EXE file, or they can cause your system to just freeze, or run very slowly.

Thankfully, there are some excellent software repair programs on the market.  Just do a little research to find the right registry repair software for you and your computer.

You should run your registry repair software at least once a month, and if you notice problems, such as the blue screen of death run it then.  It’s also a good idea to run it after you uninstall a program to make certain any reference to the .EXE files are removed correctly from the registry.

The advent of registry repair software has made our lives much easier once we know about.

Using A Registry Cleaner With Windows Vista

After a few months of usage we notice that a PC tends to become slower. It has more windows error messages and more system crashes. But what is it that causes this to happen in the PC? It is the windows vista registry. Technically speaking, a registry is an informational database. It has loads and loads of information. The number of profiles on the system, programs that are installed and much more is stored in the windows vista registry. Every time the program has to run, the windows looks up to the registry for reference. A windows vista registry cleaner is a program that helps you to clean the registry with a few simple clicks.

How does the registry get clogged?

Every time you install a program on the computer, a file is stored in the system registry. When you uninstall this program, this entry is supposed to be deleted from the windows vista registry. But many programs have faulty installation packages and the un-installation does not delete the file completely from the windows vista registry leading to a dead file. It is files like this which clog the system registry and lead to degraded system performance over a long period of time.

What the registry cleaner does

Cleaning the windows vista system registry is virtually impossible unless you have a specific tool like the windows registry cleaner. Unless you are a programming expert you should not attempt to tweak the registry manually. There are several dll files which are crucial for the proper functioning of windows and windows based applications. If you accidentally delete some of these files, windows and many other programs may stop functioning properly. The registry cleaner helps you by picking up only those dll files which are causing you trouble and need to be repaired. It runs a scan in the registry and highlights the files which are the cause of all you system woes. Then you can choose which files you wish to keep and which ones to discard.

Regular Routine

Most PC users run a registry cleaner on their PC as part of a regular cleaning routine. This helps them to keep their registry in shape and also reduces the errors and freezing that occurs constantly on their computers. The best part is that before enabling any changes in the registry the cleaner creates a complete back up of the registry. So if your new registry is causing you trouble, you can always restore your older configuration. But you need to be even more cautious about using a registry cleaner on your PC if you have windows vista on your computer, because not all registry cleaners are vista compatible. So make sure that you use a windows vista registry cleaner only.

Unable to read PDF files?

A Free Utility to Read PDF Files: Adobe Acrobat Reader is a free utility or application to read PDF files created by the American software company, known as ‘Adobe.’ It is also know as Adobe Reader. Just like we need MS Word for reading or editing word documents, Graphics applications for graphics files for various formats, similarly we need PDF reader to read PDF Files. Now the question may arise, what is a PDF File? By the way, PDF stands for Portable Document Format.

The Need for Acrobat: Actually, Acrobat application was developed to create portable documents that can not only preserve all the formatting of regular documents but with a much reduced file size so that it can be used on the internet. Acrobat has two parts, one is the acrobat writer that is used to create such documents and one is acrobat reader for reading PDF files. Acrobat Reader is free of cost and can be downloaded from the internet but acrobat writer is paid software.

Supporting Utilities, But Pinching Some Way: Acrobat reader also includes web browser plug-ins for viewing PDF files directly in the web browser itself instead of launching acrobat reader separately every time you click on any PDF based file link. Acrobat Reader itself uses many proprietary and third party plug-ins to support many special functions. But usually it is observed that due to the plug-ins, acrobat reader takes loads of time to launch and this is quite frustrating if you use acrobat reader regularly.

Adobe Version: From time to time, Adobe comes out with the newer version of acrobat reader with advanced features. The latest version is acrobat reader v8.0 that can be easily downloadable for free from adobe’s official website www.adobe.com.

New Version – More Secure with New User Interface: The latest version of Acrobat Reader is more secure and comes with an all new user interface, new tools, and new options for viewing information more efficiently. Acrobat Reader 8 is integrated with Adobe Connect software, which enables users to instantly communicate and accelerate approvals with virtually anyone, anywhere, at any time. In this version, user can also add digital signatures for more security of forms and drawings.
The best part of Acrobat is that it preserves all the formatting, the graphics and the colors of the original document so on which ever platform you see the PDF file, acrobat will display the file in its original form.

Passing Reference About Other PDF Readers: Though there are other PDF readers available, some are free and some are paid, that may take up less space or work at slightly faster speeds, none offer as much of a toolset as Acrobat Reader does nor seamless integration with other useful Adobe tools.
